How It Works – Restricted Access Cubicles
Step 1
When the door is locked and unoccupied, a green or white LED indicates it is accessible.

Step 2
To enter, input the correct code on the keyboard.

Step 3
A green light signals a valid code, unlocking the door, while a red light indicates an invalid code, keeping the door locked.

Step 4
Inside the cubicle, presenting a hand to the inner sensor turns the LED red, preventing entry even with the correct code.

Step 5
Exiting is touchless by presenting a hand to the inner sensor, automatically opening the door. Afterward, the door self-closes and displays green or white, showing it is accessible again.

Step 6
The entry code is customizable by authorized personnel on-site.

How the Restricted Access Cubicle System Works
Stern’s Restricted Access Cubicles provide controlled entry for commercial washrooms and public restrooms that require added security. These smart restroom cubicles combine keypad access control, touchless technology, and strong HPL partitions to ensure hygiene, safety, and reliability.
Designed and manufactured by Stern, these toilet cubicles are ideal for areas where access must be limited to authorized users only.
Enhanced Privacy with Floor-to-Ceiling Partitions
Our restricted access toilet cubicles use floor-to-ceiling HPL partitions to provide maximum privacy and effective noise reduction. This design is ideal for executive washrooms, staff facilities, and secure restrooms where discretion and comfort are essential. The full-height bathroom partitions also help contain odors and improve cleanliness, making them well suited for modern smart restroom environments.
